Donald P. Kern, D.C., was named interim president of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, in February 2004, with additional oversight of Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, Port Orange. He had been serving as senior campus administrator for Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, Port Orange, since July 2002. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in 1958, and has served the college continuously through various administrative and faculty positions since 1960, including serving as president of Palmer College from 1988 through 1994. Peter Martin, D.C., has accepted the position of interim president of Palmer College of Chiropractic West, San Jose, CA. Dr. Martin, formerly serving as dean in the Health Sciences area at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT, is a past president of the Council on Chiropractic Education. He started his chiropractic practice in Lancaster, CA, in 1982, later served as president of the California Chiropractic Association, and was appointed to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 1991. Dr. Martin was president of the Palmer College of Chiropractic West from 1992 to 2001, and held teaching appointments at Palmer College in Davenport from 1966 to 1976. ■ Donald P.
