In this issue... T his is TAC's first issue featuring Seminars & Education Opportunities and, oh, what a handful! With our ongoing commitment to "the continuing education and advancement of the chiropractic professional— YOU", (TAC's Mission) in this issue, we want to bring you more information about the seminars available to you to help you achieve your goals in practice. And, in doing so, I'm proud to present you with our first Seminar Planning Handbook starting on page 25. From seminars on technique, practice management, pediatrics, associations, college homecomings and postgraduate info and more, we've compiled a pretty exhaustive list of information for your reference. So, be sure to use it and, as always, let us know if you find we've missed any seminars you'd like information on and we'll be sure to get them added to next year's edition. And, of course, with our focus on Seminars & Education Opportunities, who better to interview (beginning on page 18) than the president of both Parker College & Parker Seminars, Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, who also just happens to have coauthored Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul, part of the bestselling series by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. Take the time to get to know this remarkable young president whose charisma and passion for chiropractic is infusing the profession! We also have two very thought provoking articles on technique. Beginning with Dr. Brice Vickery's article on page 42 which states that his technique or rather method, "The Vickery Method (TVM), proves that exact nutrition, tested for effectiveness on the individual patient, is the most necessary thing" for chiropractors to use so that their patients reach a state where they "do not have to be adjusted for a year or so!" Now that is quite a claim, so be sure to find out more about TVM and then tell us what YOU think. And also featured on technique, "The Promise of Matrix Repatterning" by Dr. George Roth, beginning on page 48. This article, written by the developer of the Matrix Repatterning technique, shares a touching patient history, while also conveying the principles behind his technique. Finally, our Million Dollar Chiropractic column, beginning on page 35, features a 1993 Palmer graduate, Dr. Steve Querio and his multidisciplinary practice from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Also included is Dr. Querio's "Success Tool Kit" on page 36. Well, that's not really ALL. There's much more.. .on practice management, radiology, nutrition and rehab, etc. Enjoy the read.. .and keep up the great work! Jaclyn Busch Touzard [email protected] For chiropractic,
