Marketing ISN’T advertising!
Business owners who aren’t sure about what marketing even is will have a difficult time grow their business.
The most effective marketing strategies cost very little (if any) money. And once you learn them, you can use them to essentially increase new patients on demand. It’s all about how you position or brand your practice. Start with the question, what do I want my legacy to be? Or, how do I want to be seen in my community?
Research shows the brand most patients are looking for is: Experienced Experts who truly Care that you can Trust.
Here are some tips for marketing:
The services you offer and the way you offer them is the #1 way to market your company. An example would be, if your office is the only one in town open on weekends, you’ll instantly attract everyone that can only get in on weekends. Or maybe you open early or stay open later then other offices. The idea here is to give more opportunity for patients to get in to see you. (Hours and Days)
Advertising will only work if you remove the obstacle that stop people from coming in to see you. Remove the stop signs. (i.e. parking, restricted hours or days, cash plans or accepting insurance)
Focus on solving the fears, problems, concerns, or frustrations for your patients. Your patients will tell you what they are by the excuses they use for not coming in or staying on their prescribed treatment schedule. The solutions you provide will be the reasons you will succeed in the long run.
Don’t become obsessed with price. Being the lowest cost option is not always the best position to be in. Instead, be visible and involved in your community by giving back or paying it forward. Put a face on Chiropractic by becoming synonymous with Chiropractic in your area.
Here are the three policies we use on every patient visit:
1-Everyone on the team must have a HELP attitude.
2-Every patient must LEAVE BETTER than the came in.
3-Every patient must feel that they got more than the paid for.
