The pervasive impact of long COVID on Americans’ health is a pressing concern that has a traditional medical solution. A recent study by the National Library of Medicine titled “50 Long-Term Effects of COVID-19: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”revealed that 80% of COVID-19 patients developed one or more long-term symptoms.1
The cost of this medical situation is staggering. In a Harvard University study, the researcher listed three economic costs for long COVID.

The Pandemic and Post-Pandemic Environment
Long COVID was initially seen after infection with the COVID-19 virus. However, recent research has shown that some people with long COVID symptoms were not infected but did have mRNA injections and boosters.
In 2022, I began to receive reports from practitioners across the U.S. about patients who were not responding as expected or were experiencing new and unusual health challenges. Initially, I hoped this would be a passing situation, but as time went on, it only worsened. This prompted me to conduct extensive research to understand the root of this change. I uncovered a set of post-pandemic factors that had become significant barriers to healing, highlighting the crucial need for further investigation.
As a result of this research, I derived testing procedures and protocols to enable practitioners to locate, track, and alleviate the most common of these post-pandemic factors, including:
Lingering aftereffects of an infection.
Effects of the spike protein from an infection.
Spike proteins from mRNA injections or boosters.
Viral and spike protein shedding from people infected with the virus or mRNA injections and boosted. Viral shedding is a known phenomenon cited in several research publications.3
The new protocols born from this research have been added to our arsenal against the most common stressors/barriers to healing.4 When these protocols are put into action, they have shown significant improvements in overall results, offering a beacon of hope in the fight against long COVID.
Stressors and Chiropractic
Chiropractic is founded upon the principle that structural misalignments cause disease. Vertebral misalignment impinges upon spinal nerves that interfere with the regular nerve supply of the organs. If uncorrected, it can become a chronic barrier to healing. When you adjust the patient so that those interferences are no longer there, the body will heal.
These same post-pandemic factors affect the practice of chiropractic. When present, a chiropractic adjustment won’t hold as well. However, when these barriers are removed, adjustments will work like they did in the 1940s and 1950s, often creating the miracles I heard about so often when I was growing up. Identifying and eliminating these barriers to healing safely and naturally is essential to a holistic practice in this post-pandemic world.
