SUCCESS. What does it take to become a successful chiropractor? There are different ideas about what makes a successful chiropractor. One is that a successful chiropractor has a great business model and makes a lot of money. Another is that a successful chiropractor sees a high volume of patients. A different idea is that to become a successful chiropractor, one must talk about subluxation, ensure nerve interference is removed from the spine, talk about spinal health, or follow evidencebased chiropractic. In my office, 1 define success by results.

1 expect my patients to get better regardless of the reason that brings them to my office. 1 have spent my career trying to deliver the highest level of results to patients. 1 believe they should feel great and function well throughout their lives. 1 also expect my patients to get completely better rather than choosing to manage a condition they were told they had prior to coming to my office.

Has it always been this way? No. 1 remember being an intern and treating my first patients. We had to come up with a treatment plan. It went something like this: three times a week for three weeks; two times a week for two to three weeks; and then once a week indefinitely. I remember thinking, “How do we know this will work for this patient? How do we know this is right for this patient? Why is this the plan for every patient? And, when this treatment plan is finished, then what? Will the patient be all better?”

These questions continued to run through my brain after I graduated and had my first associateship. I followed the treatment plans the clinic used for patients. Some patients would get better, others would get somewhat better, and some would get a little better. For the patients who would get somewhat better or a little better, I justified that, as long as I was adjusting the patient’s subluxations and keeping their spines healthy, it was ok that I was managing their condition. Additionally, I had convinced myself that their occupation and lifestyle had to be contributing to their symptoms, which is why they couldn’t folly heal. I now know that the former way of thinking was utter nonsense.

When I started working for myself, these questions kept getting louder, and the desire to get every single person who walked through my door better kept getting stronger. Another question kept going through my mind, “Why do people with the same exact alleged condition have different outcomes? One gets all better, but the other needs to be ‘managed’?” These questions led me to explore treatments in addition to chiropractic. I learned acupuncture. I used ultrasound, essential oils, and experimented with cold laser and other therapies which still didn’t provide the consistent outcomes I wanted for my patients. I was then led to leam a nutrition technique and thought, “This is it! Now I can help every patient who walks through my door.” I achieved the highest level of education in the nutrition technique and implemented that knowledge into my practice. During that time, the results were far more consistent, and patients seemed to be achieving better health if they ate well and took their recommended supplements.

As the years of practice continued, a couple of things weighed on me. I felt as if I was constantly telling patients how poisonous our environment is, how toxic food is, and what they needed to do to circumvent those assaults on their bodies. This started to not feel good. In addition, the same old problem started happening again. I began getting patients with more difficult issues that appeared to be more difficult to heal. Some patients would get better, and some wouldn’t. Patients needed more supplements and greater food restrictions/ modifications to even feel just ok. I felt as if I were placing ridiculous limits on what my patients could enjoy in life in the name of “health.” It just didn’t feel right. So, again, I was searching and thinking that there had to be a better way for my patients. One in which they can actually heal. One in which I know I can actually help them thrive in life. One in which patients can actually adapt to life and feel great and function well.

What is the Zone Technique?

The Zone Technique, on a physical level, is an unparalleled healing technique that balances the brain and body by analyzing the brain centers that control the six systems of the body. These systems are:

• The Glandular System

• The Eliminative System

• The Nervous System

• The Digestive System

• The Muscular System

• The Circulatory System

The foundation of the technique is rooted in the idea that unbalanced brain signals caused by physical and/or emotional factors can negatively effect one’s health.

I finally found what I was looking for—Zone School of Healing. I saw an interview with Zone School of Healing Founder, Dr. Peter Goldman, and thought, “If this guy’s school can actually do what it says it can do, and if he actually gets the results in his practice that he claims to get, then I want to leam from this guy.”

I was incredibly skeptical at first and didn’t join Zone School right away. That was a big mistake. Eventually, I did join because of the Zone School of Healing’s money-back guarantee. I fully expected to utilize the guarantee because I was convinced that Zone School of Healing couldn’t possibly deliver the results I wanted for my patients. I am so thankful to have been wrong.

Zone School of Healing delivers the highest level of healing knowledge out of any educational experience I have had in my life. The results achieved in my practice surpass anything I thought could be possible. I wish I had had this knowledge sooner in my career so I could have helped even more people who had walked through my door. If you are a chiropractor happy with the level of patient outcomes achieved in your office, fantastic. However, if you want to achieve the highest level of patient outcomes you can imagine and beyond, Zone School of Healing will deliver that level of success.
