Tracy's Tips

Happy October!

Wow!! Hard to believe we are already in the fourth quarter of the year... Isn't it?

This can be a very exciting time of the year for your practice as we are coming into the homestretch, or it can be a very dull and boring one... The difference is up to you.

Are your numbers in the chiropractic office where they need to be for the year? If they are not, consider some of the pointers that are given to you from our authors this month!

On page 18, you can read about "The Secret of Referrals and Retention" by Phyllis Frase, who will help you find patients that "stay, pay, and give you referrals for a lifetime!" Avery important read, because this knowledge is what can make or break your chiropractor's office!

Then, too, on page 14, Nancy Singleton has some great ideas for reactivating old patients to keep a steady flow all year long in your clinic.

The end of the year can be a stressful situation for all of your patients and for you, so it is important to understand how to instruct your patients best, so that they can reduce their stress, as you will read about in "Nourish the Body with Food Enzymes+ Identify and Reduce Stress= Health," by Keith Giaquinto, DC. Next, in Dr. William Koch's article on page 22, you will learn exactly what kind of patients can be helped by chiropractic care in order for you to be able to best answer your patients' questions about whether or not they would benefit from treatment.

Finally, in Dr. Laurie Mueller's article, "A Review of Modality Contraindications," you will learn how to screen your patients to make sure that they are candidates who can be helped using electric muscle stimulation (EMS). This can be a very valuable and important procedure, but it is important to make sure that the patients are viable candidates who can be aided by this process.

Thank you again for making your chiropractic office a great one where patients come to find peace and health!

Yours in Chiropractic,

Tracy
