From the Director's Desk
It’s always a good time to sharpen the ax. Yes, the body is a self-healing, self-regulating entity, and as we continue to pour over the scientific journals, new gems of information continue to surface that explain the effects of the treatments we choose. Take a look at Dr. Mark Studin’s most recent assessment of the autonomic nervous system on page 20, and the outcome that the chiropractic adjustment has on organ systems in his article, “Chiropractic Spinal Adjustments, Changes in Organ Systems and Treatment of Disease”.
Also this issue, Dr. William Koch caught up with Jeff Rockwell, DC to discuss what Dr. Rockwell believes is evidence for a third branch of the autonomic nervous system, which involves a functional social aspect. In addition, delving deeper into the effects of the chiropractic adjustment, you will not want to miss this month's article, titled “A Chiropractic Dream Team; Showing the Public the Power of Chiropractic” beginning on page 40. You may even use this type of demonstration in the courtroom, for your PI case.
There’s always more inside, so read this one, like you read every one, cover to cover. Be sure to hand your CA this month's issue of The Chiropractic Assistant.
Have a great end to your year, and here’s to a great 2016! Joseph Busch, DC
