IN THIS ISSUE.... I t's our annual Technology and Software issue! That means this issue is packed with exciting information on the latest advancements of diagnostic and management tools that will help streamline your practice so you can provide better care in less time! Just to get you thinking of the endless possibilities that the latest technology and software can have on your practice, Dr. Etienne DuBarry has a fun article beginning on page 28 in which he imagines the features of the ideal software for your office. In his article he picks the best features of all the software programs available so you can see where we're headed. From your patients' being able to make their appointments online to the moment the patient leaves your office.. .you'll be amazed at the useful applications you have to look forward to implementing in your practice. And in case you find a particular feature you'd like to implement immediately, this article comes with a list of references so you can find the company easily. Also, in technology, Drs. John and Brett Brimhall detail the useful applications of the Low-Level Laser Therapy in the chiropractic clinic on page 18. The authors have worked successfully with the Erchonia laser (featured on our cover). We certainly hope this feature will inspire you to look into the benefits that Low Level Laser Therapy has to offer the patients under your care. Another technological breakthrough (also featured on our cover and in Dr. Filomena Lorocca's article on page 24) is the Pharmanex Antioxidant Scanner. With the growing amount of research supporting the importance of proper nutrition and antioxidants, this scanner offers hope as a measuring device that is described as being able to determine your patients' risk of chronic degenerative diseases by observing their antioxidant numbers. As if this weren't enough, when we heard that Parker College of Chiropractic, after much investigation, has begun including the scanner's technology in their undergraduate program, we wanted you to have the chance to find out about this technology for yourself. Read about it and tell us what you think! As always, this issue is filled with many more interesting articles on a variety of topics so be sure to read it all and tell us which article is your favorite! Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Keep up the great work! Jaclyn Busch Touzard, BA Executive Editor / [email protected] For chiropractic,
