lhank you tor the opportunity to respond to the letter from Dr. Koren regarding his efforts in Germany, the concerns of the German Chiropractic Association (GCA) and those of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). This matter is very simple. Dr. Koren is teaching procedures that, heretofore, were understood to be chiropractic techniques to non-chiropractors in Germany. The German Chiropractic Association objected to these activities and, as a result, the World Federation of Chiropractic also expressed concerns about the activity. In the meantime Koren Specific Technique (KST) has become a form of analysis, multiple layers of argument and smokescreen, now including D.D. Palmer's relationship to German thought have come forward. The salient point remains that, in the view of the GCA and the WFC, these efforts are not in the best interests of the profession in Germany. Sincerely, Gerard W. CLum, D.C. President, World Federation of Chiropractic
