I break all my sports rehab and fitness programs into two phases—each with its own array of tools. During the first phase, I conduct a thorough evaluation of the patient. My goal at this point is to determine the patient's level of fitness and/or to identify any problems that can affect the body's performance. I use some basic standbys with the latest technology breakthroughs here. My Inclinometer, for example, is a rather traditional piece of equipment. On the other hand, I use high-tech devices, such as the Insight Subluxation Station™ and FAS Scan'" (patent pending) foot analysis system for detecting musculoskclctal problems. They provide thorough and efficient readings that enable me to properly assess the patient's rehab and/or fitness needs. For instance, the FAS Scan lets me know whether a patient has fundamental postural deficits that can be corrected with custom-made orthotics. Based on my findings during the evaluation phase. I'm then able to develop a sports rehab and/or fitness program that's tailored, specifically, to the patient's needs. If rehab is necessary, I usually rely on my extensive Tri-Flex"' professional rehab center. It includes key tools for the complete rehabilitation of the cervical spine (NECKSYS"), tlioracoluinbar spine and pelvis (BACKSYS*), and extremities (Thera-Ciser"1). In conjunction with the Tri-Flex, I may use tools that improve balance and propriocep-tion, such as the Babs Board and Rock & Roller Dual Use Exercise Board. I also may incorporate exercises with a Swiss Ball for added flexibility, and freestanding weights for strength. Once rehabilitation is complete, I can then guide the patient through a program that stresses whole body fitness (e.g., more weights, treadmill, exercise bike, etc.), which, of course, is the ultimate goal of chiropractic. I use high-tech devices such as: 1) FAS Scan' foot analysis system for detecting musculo- skeletal problems (Ph:l-800-553-4860) 2) the Insight Subluxation Station" (Ph:l-800-285-2001) If rehab is necessary ^ I usually rely on my extensive Tri-Hex" professional rehab center from Foot Levelers. It includes key tools for... 1) the complete rehabilitation of the cervical spine (NECKSYS*), 2) thoracolumbar spine and pelvis (BACKSYS"), 3) and extremities (Thera-Clser"). I may use tools that improve balance and proprioceptlon, such as the Rock & Roller
