Hello Doctor,

Let's get 2012 off to a great start from the beginning!  A clear vision of the destination from the inception is the only way to get where you want to go.  One person with a very clear vision for where he sees the future of chiropractic is Scott Haldeman, D.C., M.D., Ph. D., which he shares in his interview starting on page 20. The model he proposes is already in place through the World Spine Care mission, with a list of influential supporters that will surprise you. Dr. Haldeman has a long history in chiropractic, and has gone on to receive his M.D., as well as Ph. D.  Don't miss this article, it's an interesting proposal for where some circles are hoping the chiropractic profession is heading, and you need to know this if your peers are positioning themselves in this manner.

For those interested in treating athletes, don't miss the article by Dr. Jay Greenstein on page 14.   Dr. Greenstein has officially broken into the sports chiropractic niche, and actively treats athletes from a variety of different sports, at the highest competitive levels.  If you want to do this with your clinic, this article will be a good first step down that road!

Another author who always deserves mention is Dr. Mark Studin.  Dr. Studin presents an interesting perspective through referenced research on exactly why it's important to maintain the identity of the term chiropractic adjustment, as being unique and different from a manipulation when doing research, and billing for that matter.
