Fight Against Cold and Flu Season with Chiropractic

Flu strains can be unpredictable. While an immunization may help decrease the chances of developing pneumonia and having to be hospitalized, it will do little to fight the flu and flu-like symptoms. Chiropractic care can help your patients’ bodies build a natural defense against the flu.

Foot Levelers works with your chiropractic treatment to help your patients stay healthier longer. Foot Levelers makes Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers, or custom-made orthotics, which support all three arches of the foot. Stabilizers help to align the ankles, hips, and pelvis to provide a balanced foundation for the spine, helping your chiropractic adjustments hold longer.

For more information about Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers or any of Foot Levelers’ products, call toll free: 1-800-553-4860 (USA), 1-800-344-4860 (CAN), or visit FootLevelers.com.

3D and 4D Spine, Pelvis and Posture

Analysis

Fast, Contactless, Radiation-free

The Formetric, using a fast (40 milliseconds) hi-definition optical measurement of the surface of the back of your patient, produces graphical, clinical and analytical information on the spine, the pelvis and posture.

Ideal for chiropractors, the Formetric provides clinical information to develop your diagnostics and treatments and to document your treatment outcomes.

The Formetric’s radiation-free and non-intrusive qualities allow you to do multiple scans of your patients repeatedly e.g. before and immediately after treatment.

A complement to your radiology equipment, the Formetric does not require any license or special building construction, nor any lengthy training for its accurate and repeatable measurements. Contact us at 1-514-342-6161 or www.biometrixmedica.com.

The Scoliosis Desk Reference

Scoliosis, a condition that causes an abnormal curvature of the spine, affects approximately 3 percent of the U.S. population, which roughly equals six million people. Chiropractors Dr. Gary Deutchman and Dr. Marc Lamantia have founded The Scoliosis Care Foundation, a non-profit organization created to help raise awareness about scoliosis. The doctors have published The Scoliosis Desk Reference: A Practical Guide for Identifying the Early Signs of Scoliosis to educate millions of parents, educators and medical professionals on how to screen for scoliosis and how to seek treatment for this debilitating condition.

Dr. Deutchman and Lamantia also run Scoliosis Systems, a chiropractic practice dedicated to the treatment of scoliosis with the SpineCor brace, which is a soft, flexible bracing system that allows for children’s spines to grow and muscles to be strengthened and to learn proper posture as a result. For more information on Scoliosis Systems and the Scoliosis Care Foundation, visit www.scoliosissystems.com or call 1-800-281-5010.
