Foot Levelers Awards Scholarship to Chiropractic Student

Roanoke, VA – Foot Levelers announces a $2,500 scholarship to Kamal Vaid, a chiropractic assistant in Chicago, to attend Life College of Chiropractic. After attending Life College of Chiropractic, he has already decided to return to work as a DC for ChiroOne. He is an outspoken advocate for Foot Levelers’ products and the benefits associated with them.

“Foot Levelers believes in supporting chiropractic education and what better way to do this than by offering a scholarship to an outstanding individual with high ideals,” said Foot Levelers Associate Director of Education and Research Dr. Brian Jensen. “Kamal Vaid has proven results as a CA and wants to become a chiropractor to help even more people.”

New York Chiropractic College Recognized Once Again as a "Great College to Work For"

Seneca Falls:  NYCC, yet again, earned recognition by the Chronicle of Higher Education as a “Great College to Work For” - the only chiropractic college or natural healthcare institution to have done so.  This year, NYCC was also named to the Chronicle of Higher Education’s “2010 Honor Roll” - earning high marks among a field of responses from more than 43,000 people at 275 institutions and identified among a very select group of schools cited most often in all recognition categories.
Of particular note was NYCC’s high showing in employee satisfaction, work/life balance, confidence in senior leadership and respect and appreciation for the work force.  This year’s survey was the Chronicle's biggest yet, enjoying a 300 percent increase in participation with a 45 percent response rate among the more than 100,000 people who received the survey.
Dr. Frank J. Nicchi, NYCC President was thrilled with the announcement.  “Such recognition is quite an accomplishment given the number and quality of institutions participating.  Achieving “Honor Roll” status is truly an outstanding distinction!  Ultimately, students benefit whenever quality instruction is provided by satisfied faculty members and customer-oriented service is delivered by a happy staff.”

The Chronicle of Higher Education’s “Great Colleges to Work For” program recognizes colleges for their practices and policies that include tenure clarity, work/life balance, compensation and benefit. To learn more about NYCC and our graduate programs please visit our Web site at www.nycc.edu
